Membership

Membership is

open to all women interested in performing community service and fundraising activities

To become a member….

Guests and member candidates are welcome throughout the membership year and can participate fully in all club activities. 

 

Member candidates will be mentored in one of two candidate committees throughout the year, culminating in installation in either September or May. 

 

Each candidate will be required to:

 

· Attend a minimum of five general     membership sessions

· Earn a minimum of three service points

· Serve a Libertyville Days shift

· Participate fairly and equitably in their Member Candidate Committee

· Pay a $10 application fee and $50 membership fee at the time of installation

All members of LJWC….

· Pay annual dues

· Serve on at least one standing committee of Department of Work

· Attend a minimum of five meetings per year

· Participate in foundation committee projects to raise money for charities

· Participate in the Civic Center Foundation (which sponsors Libertyville Days each June)

· Earn a minimum of three service points annually

· Prepare and serve refreshments/clean up following one general meeting
